2022 Summer Internship

Deloitte: My second semester at USC has already started once again as winter break came to an end. Having attend one semester, I now know my way around most of campus. I have once again started taking new and different courses but during this time, I have tried looking for potential internships that I could apply to. I have found applying to internships is incredibly similar to what I did during my college applicaton process. After sending in my application, I recieved an offer for an interview from a company I had applied to, Deloitte. Deloitte being one of the big four accounting firms, it was certainly a choice I wanted to pursue as I wanted to gain a foothold in the financial world and associate it with the technological knowledge I would be getting from school. As a result, I had applied to Risk and Financial Advisory department and was interviewed on my capabilities for the position.

A couple days later after the interview, I was certainly in my most anxious period of time in a while. From constantly checking my email to waiting for a phone call, I was nerviously waiting for the final verdict. It was then, half an hour after I finished my classes that I recieved a call and when I picked up, it was my interviewer who had just called me and I was greeted with the words “Congratulations.” My heart shot up and I was head over heels about this opportunity as I was going to gain experience and I was now officially employed for this upcoming summer!
