Starting College

Starting College: It’s now August and it has been four months since I recieved my notice of admission and two months since my high school graduation. After days of preparation, I have now boarded the plane with my family to fly across the country to California! It was my first time traveling since the pandemic started and I was off to the place I would call home for the next four years.

Arriving earlier than the move in day, me and my family visited various tourist spots around LA to get the LA experience. We also did a lot of shopping and I was able to purchase all the necessary items that would prepare me for any situation I may come across. Move in then started a few days later where the whole campus was extremely active as people flooded in to start to unpack their belongings at their soon to be home. As one of the earlier groups to move in, I was able to witness my soon to become suitemates start to slowly move in. Over the course of the week, I was able to get to know my fellow suitemates and before I knew it, the first day of classes arrived. My College Life has officially started and my first semester was well under way.
